How yard waste removal works

Text a photo of the pile. We send a price. We come with a saw, rakes and contractor bags, load it all, and rake the spot clean. Brush and yard waste go to the yard waste area at the county facility for your address, where it is chipped or composted rather than buried.

Richmond yards

The city collects bulk and brush every other week, and it works if you can wait and the pile is at the curb on the right day. Henrico and Chesterfield residents can take yard waste to the convenience centers. What people call us for is the pile that is bigger than a curb pickup, the storm limbs that came down last night, or the landscaping project that left a mound of roots and mulch in the driveway.

Outdoor junk

Yard waste jobs turn into outdoor junk jobs all the time. The rusted grill, the cracked planters, the patio set with one broken chair, the kids’ old trampoline. Send it all in the same photo and we price it together.

Yard Waste Removal questions

Do you take storm debris?

Yes. After a storm, limbs and brush pile up faster than the city or county collects them. Text a photo of the pile and we load it.

Do I need to bag it or cut it up?

No. We bring the saw and the bags. If you have already piled it, that is enough.

Can you remove old shrubs?

Shrubs that are already cut or dug out, yes. Digging them out is landscaping and we can quote it, but a landscaper may be a better fit for large beds.

Is yard waste cheaper than household junk?

Usually, because it goes to a different place and is lighter. Keep it separate from household junk if you can.
