Do you charge to come out?
No. Salem Junk Removal quotes are always free. Most quotes come from a photo you text us, and if we need to see the job in person, that visit is free too.
What can you take?
Almost anything: furniture, appliances, mattresses, tires, TVs, yard waste and construction debris. Tell us what is in the pile when you ask for your quote and the price we confirm will cover it. The main exceptions are hazardous materials like asbestos or chemicals, which we cannot legally haul, and a few items like vehicles. Not sure about something? Ask.
How fast can you get here?
Salem Junk Removal takes jobs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Text a photo of the items and your address to (804) 822-7662, and we will reply with the earliest time we can get there and a price, or let you know if we need a quick look in person first. Need it gone today? Say so in your text and we will tell you right away if we can make it.
Do I need to be home?
No. If the pile is outside or in an open garage, we send before and after photos and you pay from your phone with PayPal, Zelle, Cash App or Venmo. Cash works too if you are home.
Where does it go?
Ask about the disposal plan when you book, especially if you have items you hope to donate or recycle. Acceptance depends on item condition and the receiving facility.
Are you connected to Salem, Virginia?
No. Salem Junk Removal is run by owner Mohammad Salem and serves Richmond, Henrico, Chesterfield, Hanover and nearby communities. We are not connected to the city of Salem near Roanoke.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Salem Junk Removal is licensed and insured. If your building, HOA or property manager needs proof of insurance, ask when you book.
