How electronics removal works

Text a photo of the pile. We send a price. We pick it up, and it goes to the electronics drop-off at the county facility for your address, where it is handled as e-waste rather than trash.

Old TVs are the main event. A projection TV from 2005 weighs more than a fridge and does not fit in a car, and that is usually the reason we get the call.

Data first

Anything with a hard drive should be wiped or the drive pulled before it leaves your house. We are haulers, not a data destruction service. If you want to keep the drive, pop it out and we will take the rest.

Businesses

Offices in Innsbrook, downtown and along the Turnpike replace equipment in batches, and the old batch ends up in a storage room. We clear those after hours, load monitors and towers on the trailer, and get them to a recycler. For documented destruction, use a certified e-waste vendor and let us haul the furniture.

Electronics Removal questions

Do you take old tube TVs?

Yes. Big tube and projection TVs are heavy and the county facilities handle them as electronics. We carry them out and take them where they belong.

What about my data?

Wipe your drives before we come, or pull them and keep them. We do not wipe drives and we do not provide destruction certificates. For a business that needs documented destruction, we can point you to a vendor.

Is there a fee for electronics?

The county facilities in our area accept electronics for recycling. Whatever the handling is for your address, it is in the price we text.

Can you clear out an office's old equipment?

Yes. Monitors, towers, printers and phones in bulk are a normal job, and we can do it after hours.
