How shed removal works

Text a photo of the shed, a photo inside, and tell us what the floor is. We send one price for the contents, the teardown and the haul.

On the day, we empty the shed first. Anything usable goes to the donation side. Then we take the structure apart: roof, walls, floor. Metal panels go to a recycler. Wood goes to the county facility. We rake the footprint and leave it clear.

Sheds around Richmond

Metal kit sheds from the eighties in Lakeside and Mechanicsville, rusting at the base. Wood sheds in Chesterfield with a roof that has been leaking for two winters. Resin sheds in newer neighborhoods that cracked. All of them come down the same way, and all of them are full.

What stays

Concrete pads and footings. Cutting and hauling concrete is priced by weight and usually is not worth it for a pad you might reuse. We cut posts flush and leave the slab. If you want it gone, we will quote it, but we will also tell you when it is not worth the money.

Shed Removal questions

How big a shed can you take down?

Wood sheds up to about 12 by 16 and metal sheds of any common size are a normal one-day job. Bigger than that, send a photo and we will come look, free.

Do you take what is inside too?

Yes. Most sheds are full, and emptying it is part of the job. Usable tools and equipment go to donation.

What about the floor?

A wood floor on skids comes with us. A concrete pad stays. Tell us which you have.

Does the shed have to be empty first?

No. If you pull out what you are keeping, the price drops. If not, we sort as we go.
