How an office cleanout works

Send photos of the space, the floor number, and the building’s rules for moving out. We send one price and a certificate of insurance if the building needs it. On the night, we break down cubicles, load furniture and electronics on the freight elevator, and sweep. You get photos of the empty suite.

Good office furniture goes to donation. Metal filing cabinets and cubicle frames go to a recycler. Electronics go to the e-waste drop-off at the county facility.

Office parks around Richmond

Innsbrook, West Broad, Boulders, downtown along Main Street, and the medical offices along Forest Avenue all turn over suites regularly. The building wants it empty by the lease end and the movers only took what was going to the new place. We take what is left.

Files and data

Boxes of old files go with us to disposal unless you need them shredded with a certificate. For that, a shredding vendor is the right call. Computers should have drives wiped or pulled before we load them.

Office Cleanouts questions

Can you work around building rules?

Yes. Innsbrook and downtown buildings usually want a certificate of insurance on file, a freight elevator reservation, and after-hours access. We have the certificate, and we schedule around the building.

Do you take cubicles?

Yes. We break down panels and workstations and load them. Cubicle systems in good shape can sometimes be donated or resold, and we will tell you if yours can.

What about the old computers?

We take them for electronics recycling. Wipe or pull the drives first. For documented destruction, use a certified vendor and let us haul the rest.

How long does an office take?

A ten-person office is an evening. A floor is a weekend. Send photos and we tell you.
